King Felipe and Queen Letizia Caught Up In A Scandal?

It has emerged that King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain have somehow caught themselves up in a scandal after a few messages have been leaked.

The leaked messages concerns businessman Javier López Madrid, who was a former Bankia bank board member and good fried of the King and Queen. The messages are from October 2014. Javier López Madrid is accused, along with a few other people, of misusing personal bank funds.

The iMessages was a series of back and forth conversations between Queen Letizia and Lopez Madrid. Parts of the conversation included “I wrote to you when the story on the credit cards came out,” Queen Letizia wrote, according to El Diario. “We know who you are and you know who we are. We know each other, like each other, respect each other. To hell with the rest. Kisses yoga mate (miss you!!!)” López replied. “In future I will take extra precautions, we live in a very difficult country and I will be even more aware of my conduct.” Later, King Felipe joins the conversation and says “We do indeed!”

Some officials have recently said that King Felipe has cut off all ties with Lopez Madrid.
