Queen Mathilde Celebrates Women’s Day In Advance
Belgium’s Queen Mathilde appropriately marked Women’s Day by meeting … women. The Queen went to Brugges in West Flanders to meet several outstanding women of the province. Although International Women’s Day is only on March 8th, the Queen schedueled this event for yesterday.
During a lunch she spoke with outstanding women from the province of West Flanders. According to the Belgian palace, the queen wanted to give special attention to the day and wanted to talk in-depth about challenges and expectations for women.
