Iñaki Denies Involvement of Cristina and Juan Carlos

Iñaki Urdangarin, husband of Infanta Cristina of Spain, had to testify in court again today. The former duke of Palma de Mallorca is a suspect in a fraud scandal. He and his business partner Diego Torres are accused of misusing public funds for their Nóos foundation.

Iñaki denied that either his wife or his father-in-law knew about the embazzlements. He told them little about his business, only about a business success or when the company had won an award: ‘I was proud of that’.

The former duke also said his wife never used the creditcard of Aizóon, a company of which she was co-owner. She never even touched the card: ‘payments were done by my secretary’.
