Princess Marie Lends A Hand To Help World’s Vulnerable Women
Denmark’s Princess Marie on Monday gave her time at a charity drive in Copenhagen, as part of her work with DanChurchAid, whose annual national fundraiser is coming up on March 13.
She helped sell cups of pumpkin soup at the market Torvehallerne to raise money for the theme of this year’s fundraiser, “Share your time with the poorest women in the world.” The soup had previously been made by immigrant women at the organisation Send More Spices, Marie had joined them to help make the dish.

“It is important to share with others who have not so much. Time is something we can all share,” Princess Marie said to the media, when asked why she had chosen to take part in the drive.
The Princess is currently on a three-day visit to the Faroe Islands with her patronage, the National Association for Autism. We will cover this visit a little later today.
