Frederik and Mary’s Second Day in Saudi Arabia

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary had the first official day of their business delegation visit to Saudi Arabia today, as they opened the Danish Saudi Business Forum at the Hotel Al Faisaliah in Riyadh.

The Crown Prince delivered a keynote speech to mark the opening of the forum, which aims to help “create growth and jobs in Denmark” through the export market. The couple also toured the forum, chatting with a number of the Danish business stall-holders about their products and what they hope to get out of the trip.

After a business lunch, Crown Princess Mary had a meeting with Saudi businesswomen whom she later described as being very “strong and courageous”.

They later attended a dinner in the evening again at the Hotel Al Faisaliah.
