King Philippe and Queen Mathilde Visit Antwerp
Today, Thursday February 25, Their Majesties King Philippe and Queen Mathilde paid a visit to the Province of Antwerp.
Upon their arrival in the municipality of Arendonk, the Royal Couple visited Talander, a non-profit institution dedicated to adult people with intellectual disabilities. During the visit the King and the Queen met the director of Talander, Jos Sierens, made a tour of the residence and were informed about all the activities made by the patients.

The following visit was in the municipality of Turnhout where the Royal Couple visited the company Cartamundi, a company leader in the production and sales of cards and games. In the headquarter of the company the King and the Queen were welcomed by the CEO, Chris Van Doorslaer. The Royal Couple made a tour of the factory and received as a gift a personalized deck of playing cards, manufactured during their visit.

The last event was a reception held in the City Hall of Turnhoult. King Philippe and Queen Mathilde also met all the people gathered outside the City Hall to greet them.
