King of Morocco on Visit to France
King Mohammed VI of Morocco paid a day-long visit to France today, meeting with President François Hollande at the Elysee Palace in the French capital.
A number of government ministers attended the meeting at the Palace, prior to the King and the President heading off to visit the Institut du Monde Arabe, where they inspected plans for the creation of a Moroccan Cultural Centre in Paris.
The purpose of the visit was to reflect on the “excellent bilateral relations” between the two countries.
