Spain’s King and Queen Visit Museo del Prado
King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain paid a visit to the famed Museo del Prado in Madrid for a meeting of the board of trustees today.
The couple viewed one of the museum’s latest acquisitions, Fra Angelico’s The Virgin of the Pomegranate, which was purchased from the Duke of Alba, before heading into the meeting with the museum’s board.
Queen Letizia donned an ivory skirt suit with a floral motif on the lapel, adding some colour with burgundy heels and a crocodile skin clutch. A bright red coat allowed the schoolchildren gathered outside to spot her in the crowd.
