Duchess of York: Switzerland’s Newest Resident?

In an interview with Swiss publication Le Nouvelliste, Sarah Duchess of York has revealed she is in the process of applying for Swiss residency.

“I want to officially become a Valaisian resident. The administrative process is ongoing,” she told the newspaper. The Duchess is the co-owner of a £13million chalet in Verbier with her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, that they purchased last year.

Sarah also told the paper that she first visited Verbier at the age of 16 with her mother, Susan Barrantes.
