Albert and Charlène Attend St Dévote’s Day
Prince Albert and Princess Charlène attended the St Dévote’s Day celebrations in Monaco.
The royal couple attended a church service and then walked the streets of Monaco to greet people who gathered, they took time to talk and shake hands with a few. They later helped set light to a fishing boat.
Charlène looked warm wrapped in a cape and high knee boots to the event.
St Dévote’s Day is the remembrance of their patron saint, a Christian martyr who was killed and tortured for her faith in the 4th century. The day is also a national holiday in Monaco.
