Bhutan’s King and Queen Looking Forward To Son’s Birth

The King and Queen of Bhutan released a new photograph of themselves today, celebrating the first snowfall of the year.

“Their Majesties, with a wonderful snow-covered Tashichhodzong in the background. Thimphu woke up to a beautiful white morning, the first snowfall of the year, today,” the photograph is captioned on King Jigme Khesar’s official Facebook page.

The message also includes a note about Queen Jetsun Pema’s pregnancy – she is in the best of health, and “Their Majesties look forward to the birth of {their} Prince next month.”
