William and Kate Hit the Phones at ICAP Charity Day
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge today hit the phones during ICAP’s 23rd annual Charity Day at their headquarters in London.
William and Kate joined brokers – a number of whom were dressed in costumes – in making deals, some worth substantial amounts of money, with all the firm’s profits for the day donated to charity. This year’s charities include three of the couple’s patronages: SkillForce, SportsAid and Place2Be.
Among the themed broker desks was a Mexican ‘Day of the Dead’ desk where the Duke and Duchess had a go a beating a piñata, before later playing a game of table tennis. “You’re not normally this polite when we normally play,” William quipped of his wife during the game.
Kate debuted a new, shorter hairstyle at the event, her locks now stopping just below her shoulders. She wore a dark green skirt and jacket set from LK Bennett that was first seen in 2012.
