King Philippe and Queen Mathilde Visit Hainaut
Their Majesties King Philippe and Queen Mathilde paid a visit to the Province of Hainaut today, Thursday November 19.
Upon their arrival in the municipality of Ath, the Royal Couple went to the “Institut Technique Libre”, an advanced technology center. During the visit the King and Queen made a tour of the Institute along with some students who showed them the results of their works.

Then took place a roundtable meeting focused on teacher training at the presence of representatives of trade delegation, school staff and the Mayor of Ath, Marc Duvivier.
In late morning King Philippe and Queen Mathilde went to the municipality of Tournai where they visited the company Pollet. The company is an old family business founded in 1763 that is specialized in research, manufacture and sale of cleaning products for the hygiene and cleaning market.

At their arrival in the company they were welcomed by members of the management and made a tour through the laboratories. The visit ended in the City Hall of Tournai. The King and the Queen were greeted by Rudy Demotte, the Mayor of Tournai and Tommy Leclercq, Governor of the Province of Hainaut.
The Royal Couple signed the Guestbook and then took place a reception.
