King Felipe Presents National Awards for Innovation and Design

The King and Queen of Spain today attended the National Awards for Innovation and Design 2015 at the Teatro Cervantes in Malaga.

King Felipe delivered a speech in which he said it was imperative to “awaken and encourage innovative vocations” in Spain in order to continue responding positively to future challenges. He and Queen Letizia then presented the five awards to individuals and organisations that have excelled in the field of design and innovation and have an “exemplary track record”.

Queen Letizia kept her look simple, yet with a twist, in a pair of black trousers, a cream blouse and a black cape with split sleeves.
