Princess Eugenie of York opened the new London campus of her alma mater, Newcastle University, on Wednesday night.

Alongside the University’s vice-chancellor, Professor Chris Brink, she attended a reception held to make the opening, and met with staff and students before unveiling a sculpture, entitled ‘Critical Mass’, designed by fellow graduate Joseph Hillier.

The Princess graduated from Newcastle University in 2012 with a Combined Honours BA, in which she studied Art History, English Literature and Politics.
