Prince Floris and Princess Aimée’s 10th Wedding Anniversary

Prince Floris of Orange-Nassau van Vollenhoven and Princess Aimée celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary today.

Prince Floris announced his engagement to Aimée Söhngen on February 25, 2005. The couple married in a civil ceremony at the Stadhuis in Naarden on October 20, 2005 and on October 22, 2005 they married in a religious ceremony at the Grote Kerk in Naarden.

The couple have three children, Magali van Vollenhoven, Eliane van Vollenhoven and Willem Jan van Vollenhoven.

Prince Floris did not seek parliamentary approval for his marriage which is required by Dutch Law, therefore he no longer is in line for the throne.
