King Philippe and Queen Mathilde Visit Mediafin

Yesterday, Tuesday September 29, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde paid a visit to the redactions of L’Echo and De Tijd, two daily newspapers published by the Mediafin Media Group, a Belgian company established in 2005.

L’Echo is a business newspaper published in French while De Tijd is a business and economics newspaper published in Dutch.

At their arrival, the Royal Couple was welcomed by Dirk Velghe, CEO of Mediafin and Frederik Delaplace, Editorial Director of L’Echo and De Tijd.

The King and the Queen made a tour through the redactions. They attended the editorial meetings of both newspapers, visited the graphic department, meet the journalist and were informed about the cooperations between the Dutch and the French redactions.
