King Philippe And Queen Mathilde Visit Limburg

Today, Thursday September 10, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde paid a visit to the Province of Limburg.
Upon their arrival in Hasselt, the capital, The King and The Queen visited the Corda Incubator Campus where they were welcomed by Herman Reynders, the governor of the Province of Limburg and Hilde Claes, the Mayor of Hasselt. The Corda Incubator Campus is an high-tech company runs by entrepreneurs of start-ups. They met Hugo Leroi, President of the investment company LRM and Patrick Kestens, CEO of Corda Incubator.
During the visit, The Royal Couple toured the campus and held a meeting with the entrepreneurs.

Later, they visited the municipality of Maasmechelen. King Philippe and Queen Mathilde visited the Cottage Fabiola, a holiday house named after the late Queen Fabiola.
Then the Royal Couple visited Connecterra, the area  is located at the Hoge Kempen National Park, the first national park in the Flanders inaugurated on March 26, 2006. At the arrival of The King and Queen, they were welcomed by Lydia Peeters, Mayor of the municipality of Dilsen-Stokkem.
The last event of the visit was a reception held at the town hall of Maasmechelen in honor of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde.
