Crown Princess Mette-Marit Attends Premiere of ‘Pøbler’ Documentary
Crown Princess Mette-Marit tonight attended the premiere of the documentary Pøbler, which has been partially funded by the Crown Prince Couple’s Fund. The premiere took place at the Colosseum cinema in Oslo.
The documentary is based on the Pøbelprosjektet, a project that helps young people who have been out of school or work for some time to find jobs or improve their education. “The film is about a group of young men and women … some of them have struggled with addictions, at least one has been imprisoned, and others have solid psychological blows because of bullying and abuse. Their commonality is that they have been unemployed for a long time,” a Dagbladet review of the documentary said.
Mette-Mart was joined by her mother, Marit Tjessem, and sister, Kristin Høiby Bjørnøy, for the viewing; during which she also met with some of the youth who were filmed for the documentary.
