Zara and Mike Set Sail At Cowes
Zara Phillips and her husband Mike Tindall today participated in the annual Artemis Challenge on Cowes Harbour, which is held as part of the traditional Cowes Week sailing event.
The duo were part of the Artemis Ocean Racing team for the charity race around the Isle of Wight, but unfortunately they came in 15th out of 16 yachts. The damp and misty weather couldn’t ruin the spirits of the competitors though, bright smiles adorning the faces of all involved.

Their competitors included former Scottish rugby star Gavin Hastings and French rugby player Sylvain Marconnet, for the ‘theme’ of this year’s race was the upcoming Rugby World Cup. Speaking ahead of the competition, Zara said that she was “expecting a decent battle on the water” as the “guys still have a strong competitive spirit.”
Zara and Mike have previously competed in the event in years past.
