Queen Máxima Opens Leontien House
Queen Máxima of the Netherlands today was in Zevenhuizen, in the country’s south-west, to officially open the Leontien House, a centre to help people suffering from eating disorders.
The Queen was welcomed by Dutch Olympic gold medalist Leontien van Moorsel, who has spearheaded the project. Van Moorsel, having battled anorexia nervosa in the mid-90s, said she was “honoured” that the Queen agreed to open the House.
Wearing a light purple-grey dress with red accessories, Máxima met with women who will be using the House facilities, which include yoga classes and cooking workshops, led by 40 trained experts.
