Afterwards the Grand Ducal and Hereditary Grand Ducal Couples were present for the traditional military parade along Avenue de la Liberté. The Grand Duke inspected a guard of soldiers.
At 4:30pm, the family arrived at the Cathedrale de Luxembourg for a Te Deum service. The Archbishop of Luxembourg, Jean-Claude Hollerich, led the service but was joined for prayers by Chief Rabbi Alain Nacache, Imam Muhamed Rizvic, and Pastor Volker Strauß of the Protestant Church of Luxembourg.
In the evening, a banquet was held at the Grand Ducal Palace for members of official Luxembourg which saw five tiaras pop up on the heads of the royal ladies.
