Prince Albert II Joins A Football Match For Charity
On Sunday, Prince Albert II of Monaco joined Slovenian President Borut Pahor in a football match in the village of Bilje in western Slovenia. All the funds raised at the event will go to medical equipment and supplies for the maternity hospital in Šempeter pri Gorici and to the department of disabled youth of Nova Gorica General hospital.
Prince Albert and the Slovenian President were joined by international stars like biathlon Olympic medallist Jakov Fak, LA Kings hockey star Anže Kopitar and hammer throwing Olympic champion Primož Kozmus.
Football stars Tim Matavž and Valter Birsa organised the three-day event.
