Luxembourg’s Grand Ducal Couple Visit Villeroy & Boch

Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa paid a visit to ceramic maker Villeroy & Boch today in Septfontaines, where the company used to have a factory.

At Château de Septfontaines, the Grand Ducal Couple met with three winners of the ‘Design Challenge’ that has been implemented by Villeroy & Boch and Luxinnovation, the national agency for research and innovation in the tiny European nation.

The three winners – Anne Kieffer, Trixi Weis and Christophe de la Fontaine – each informed Henri and Maria Teresa about the ceramic work they created for the competition, of which only 100 will be produced by Villeroy & Boch in a limited collection. The Grand Ducal Couple were presented with with one of each sculpture.
