Prince Harry Appointed to the Royal Victorian Order
Queen Elizabeth II has appointed her grandson, Prince Harry, a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Buckingham Palace announced this afternoon.
The presentation took place privately at Buckingham Palace today.
The Royal Victorian Order, founded by Queen Victoria in April 1896, is given to people who have “served the Queen or the Monarchy in a personal way.” It is the first royal order that Prince Harry has received.
Prince Harry shows his grandmother the Sentebale Garden at the Chelsea Flower Show last month.
