Queen Silvia and Princess Madeleine Meet With Melinda Gates

The Queen of Sweden and her younger daughter, Princess Madeleine, today had a meeting with Melinda Gates, co-founder of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

“Today my mother and I met with Melinda Gates and discussed ways of improving the lives of women and girls all over the world. What an inspiring and brilliant woman!” Princess Madeleine wrote on her Facebook page of the meeting.

Mrs Gates herself posted a message on Facebook, stating that she was “inspired by Sweden’s leadership in the fight to improve the lives of women and girls everywhere.”
