Prince William Attends FA Cup Final
Prince William attended the FA Cup Final today at Wembley Stadium between Arsenal and Aston Villa, which happens to be the team the Prince follows.
Arsenal took home the trophy in a convincing 4-0 win, William – as President of the Football Association – presented the trophy to the winning team’s captain at the end of the match.
Earlier in the day, Prince William called on FIFA to “show that it can represent the interests of fair play and put the sport first” in reference to this week’s scandal that saw a number of individuals linked to the sporting organisation arrested on bribery and money laundering charges.
“I have no doubt that when Fifa reforms, its mission to spread the benefits of the game to more people, especially those in developing countries, can only be enhanced,” he said.
