Princess Beatrice Joins The Queen At Buckingham Palace Garden Party
Princess Beatrice was one of several members of the Royal Family to attend a garden party at Buckingham Palace this afternoon.
Dressed in a dove grey frock with a scallop print, a white Maje jacket with black and grey embellished trim and a beige floral fascinator, the Princess happily mingled with guests on her route to the royal tea tent.
Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh had earlier led the family into the event, which takes place in the Palace gardens. The Queen spoke with a survivor of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in Germany, which she will be visiting with Prince Philip next month. “I told her about my journey from Poland to Auschwitz to Buchenwald and Bergen-Belsen – I lost so many members of my family in Poland. I’m really happy to be alive and to be able to tell my story and educate people and tell the people what really happened,” Greta Turgel said of her talk with the monarch.
Also attending were the Princess Royal, recycling the purple and green floral outfit from the Cambridge wedding in 2011, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the Duke of Kent and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent. Princess Michael was sporting a black eyepatch, which conveniently matched her cream and white polka dot outfit (a spokesperson did not wish to comment on the Princess’s eye condition).
