Members of Monaco’s Princely Family today watched the 73rd Monaco Formula One Grand Prix from the royal stand alongside the street circuit.

Prince Albert, Princess Charlène and Andrea and Pierre Casiraghi stood behind the drivers for the national anthem ahead of the race’s start. They then presented the trophies at the end of the race, in which Nico Rosberg crossed the line first.

The family greeted the winner with glee as Rosberg came up to the royal stand to collect his trophy from Prince Albert. The driver has lived in the tiny principality since he was a child. Princess Charlène then presented Sebastian Vettel with the second place trophy, and Lewis Hamilton received the third place trophy from Andrea.

Pierre’s partner Beatrice Borromeo also was present, as was Charlène’s brother Gareth Wittstock.

A gala will be taking place this evening to celebrate the winners.
