de Limburg-Stirum-von Neipperg Wedding Takes Place in Saint-Émilion
A very noble wedding took place in the south-western French town of Saint-Émilion yesterday, when Count Philippe de Limburg-Stirum married Countess Caroline von Neipperg.
The bride, who is the daughter of Count Stephan von Neipperg and his wife Sigweis, arrived to the church on her father’s arm, accompanied by ten bridal children wearing matching white outfits with red sashes. Caroline wore a simple a-line wedding gown with a lace overlay over the bodice and sleeves, an elaborate gold embroidered train attached to the back of the gown.
Philippe (son of Count Christian de Limburg-Stirum and his wife Colienne) and Caroline posed for photographs on the church steps following the service, before travelling to their reception in an old-style bus, a ‘Just Married’ sign on its roof.
