Prince William Visits the English Women’s Football World Cup Team
The Duke of Cambridge, as president of the Football Association, paid a visit to the team that will be taking part in the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada next month.
Prince William met with the England Women’s Football Team at the National Football Centre, St George’s Park, in Staffordshire where he spoke with the women about their qualifying process for the tournament. He also watched part of their exercise training regime, and was told about the organisation’s Homeless FA program.
The team’s captain, Steph Houghton, presented the Duke with a personalised team jersey for three week old Princess Charlotte.
