Baby Cambridge: She’s A Charlotte!

Kensington Palace have revealed the name of the newborn daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge: Charlotte.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their daughter Charlotte Elizabeth Diana,” their Tweet said a short time ago.

The names are with links to the Royal Family: Charlotte was the name of George IV, and is also the feminine form of Charles. Elizabeth is the name of the current monarch, and also the middle name of both Catherine and her mother Carole. Diana is the name of William’s late mother.
