Queen Elizabeth Attends Amalgamation Parade In Richmond
Just hours after the news she has another great-granddaughter was announced, Queen Elizabeth was at Richmond Castle in North Yorkshire attending the amalgamation parade of two British military regiments.
And in a nod to the new Cambridge Princess, the Queen donned a fuchsia Karl Ludwig coat and matching Angela Kelly hat.
During the event, which saw The Queen’s Royal Lancers and the 9th/12th Lancers (Prince of Wales’s) regiments merge into The Royal Lancers, Queen Elizabeth watched on as over 250 soldiers from the two regiments marched into the Castle’s grounds before she delivered a speech and a fly past occurred.
The Queen was accompanied to the event by the Duke of York.
