Queen Sofia and Princess Irene Release Two Iberian Lynx

Queen Sofia of Spain and Princess Irene of Greece today released two Iberian lynx.

The event took place on the ‘The Chestnut’ farm in the municipality of Mazarambroz in full Montes de Toledo. The owners of The Chestnut farm and a few authorities where present at the event.

The Royal ladies released two lynx that where born in 2014 in a breeding center. The lynx where released in an area where about 20 endangered cats were released in the past year in the region.
