A Son For Prince Rahim and Princess Salwa Aga Khan

The Aga Khan’s eldest son and his wife have welcomed their first child it has been announced.

Princess Salwa, wife of Prince Rahim Aga Khan, gave birth to a son named Irfan on April 11 in Geneva, Switzerland. Both mother and son are doing well, according the statement released to the Ismaili Muslim Community.

The Aga Khan expressed the “great happiness” of both his family and that of his daughter-in-law stemming from the birth.

Prince Rahim and Princess Salwa, who was born Kendra Spears, were married in August 31, 2013 in Geneva.
