Princess Kako Begins At New University

The younger daughter of Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko began her studies at the International Christian University today.

Princess Kako posed for photographers during a brief photo session in the University’s grounds prior to attending the official welcoming ceremony for new students in Mikata, Tokyo. She has been enrolled to study liberal arts and sciences.

The Princess previously spent fourteen month studying at the Gakushūin University, which she left in August last year. She has said she wants to learn a “wide range of liberal arts and English.”
