Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Visit South London
For her last public appearance of this pregnancy, the Duchess of Cambridge and her husband, the Duke of Cambridge, visited Deptford in South London on March 27.
Recycling a bright pink Mulberry coat, the Duchess of Cambridge visited the Stephen Lawrence Centre, where she and William were welcomed by a choir of schoolgirls. After the schoolgirls had sung for the Cambridges, William then went on to say “What a welcome, that was beautiful”.
After their visit to the Stephen Lawrence Centre, where Kate met with Stephen Lawrence’s mother and also with his ten year old niece, the Cambridges visited the XLP Mobile Recording Studio in Sydenham.
Baroness Lawrence, Stephen Lawrence’s mother, later said “it has been quite an amazing visit. They spent really good time with all of our young people and showed genuine interest in what they were doing”.
