King Philippe and Queen Mathilde in the Province of Flemish Brabant
To mark the 20th anniversary of its foundation, Their Majesties the King and Queen of the Belgians visited the Province of Flemish Brabant on yesterday, February 26.
At their arrival in Kampenhout, the Royal Couple were welcomed by the Governor of the Province, Lodewijk De Witte, and the Mayor of Kampenhout, Kris Leaerts, at the communications company Artoos. The King and the Queen made a tour of its headquarters and they were informed about the history of Artoos and the progress of the company in the field of sustainable development.
Then King Philippe and Queen Mathilde visited the Don Bosco Campus in Haccht. They were welcomed by the Mayor of Haacht, Mon Fillet. The Royal Couple talked with principals, teachers and students about business, technical and professional disciplines.
The last event was a reception in the Town Hall of Haacht where the Mayors of Kampenhout and Haacht and the Governor of the Povince held speeches. King Philippe and Queen Mathilde signed the Golden Book and received gifts for their children.
