New Birthday Photos of Princess Athena Released

The Danish Royal Court released three new photographs of Princess Athena to mark her third birthday today.

In the photos, the youngest member of the Danish Royal Family smiles cheekily for the camera and plays with an electric race car track, seemingly having taken on board the interest in cars that her father and brothers have.

The photographs were taken at Amalienborg by Steen Brogaard.

Princess Athena is the youngest child of Prince Joachim and his second wife, Princess Marie. She was born at the Copenhagen University Hospital in 2012, and has three elder brothers: Nikolai, Felix and Henrik. Athena is presently tenth in line for the throne.
