Prince Carl Philip and Sofia Hellqvist Attend Sports Gala

Prince Carl Philip of Sweden and his fiancée Sofia Hellqvist were present at the annual Sports Gala in Stockholm this evening.

The couple walked the red carpet at the Ericsson Globe, before heading inside for the awards which saw swimmer Sarah Sjostrom take home the Jerring Prize which is voted for by the Swedish public. Other winners of the evening were the Swedish female ski team who won ‘Best Performance of the Year’ for their efforts at the Winter Olympics, cross-country skier Charlotte Kalla who who won ‘Female Athlete of the Year’ and football star Zlatan Ibrahimovic who was named ‘Male Athlete of the Year’.

Ms Hellqvist donned a black and white evening gown from BCBG Max Azria, which featured an intriguing twist on Grecian-style draping – the black sheer overlay was gathered in a twist under the bust, before flowing to the ground only covering half the skirt.
