Princess Marie Opens New Hospital Wing
Princess Marie of Denmark today opened the new building of the South Jutland Hospital in Aabenraa.
The new wing features the hospital’s new emergency department, a restaurant and an outpatient psychiatry clinic for children and adolescents. The expansion cost 600million DKK (€80million) and will help to serve the almost 250,000 citizens of Southern Jutland.
During her visit to the hospital, Princess Marie was given a tour of the new facilities and met with patients and employees. She even stopped to help some young patients make paper crowns.
