Duchess of Cambridge’s Thirty-Third Birthday

The Duchess of Cambridge celebrated her thirty-third birthday on January 9.

Catherine Elizabeth Middleton was born on 9 January 1982 at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. Although her full name is Catherine, she is most commonly known as “Kate”. She is the eldest daughter and child of Carole Goldsmith and her husband, Michael Middleton. She has two younger siblings; Philippa Middleton (who is more commonly known as “Pippa” – born in 1983) and James Middleton (born in 1987).

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met at St. Andrew’s university, and began dating in 2003. However, the couple parted in 2007, before getting back together again.

The Duke and Duchess’s wedding took place at Westminster Abbey in London on 29 April 2011, after their engagement was announced on 16 November 2010. The couple have a son, Prince George of Cambridge, who was born on 22 July 2013. In September 2014, it was announced that they are expecting their second child, which is due in April 2015.
