The Prince and Princess of Monaco have introduced their newborn twins to the world, in a series of photographs released yesterday.

Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, dressed in blue and pink coveralls, take pride of place in the photos, taken at the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace where they were born. Prince Albert and Princess Charlène look incredibly pleased with their newborns, who were born on December 10.

Both Albert and Charlène have both spoken of their feelings after the birth. “I don’t have the words to describe how it felt then or the deep joy I feel now,” Prince Albert said, while Charlène told Paris Match that the twins are “very active and very expressive” and that she is “crazy in love with them.”

The twins will officially be presented on January 7, in a ceremony at the Prince’s Palace.
