Princess Marie Attends DanChurchAid Christmas Lunch
As patron, Princess Marie today attended the annual DanChurchAid Christmas lunch at the Schäffergaarden in Gentofte.
During the lunch, the Princess held a speech in which she discussed her visit to Ethiopia with the charity in January this year. “Although it is almost a year ago, I can clearly remember every face I met, like it was yesterday,” she said.
“My few days stay made an incredible impression,” continued Marie, as she figured out that she was able to control the slideshow that was projected behind her. “It’s my goat!” she exclaimed as an image of her leading a goat popped up on the screen. The goat was a gift from the Jibri village, and was then donated to a family in need.
Princess Marie also confirmed to the newspaper BT that she is planning on visiting more countries in connection to her patronage, which she has held since September 2011.
