Confirmed: Twins For Charlène and Albert

The Prince’s Palace of Monaco has finally confirmed what has been a much speculated upon topic: Princess Charlène is indeed pregnant with twins.

“The Prince and Princess of Monaco are happy to confirm they are expecting twins… at the end of the year,” read the official statement. The Princess’s pregnancy was announced at the end of May.

A possible multiple pregnancy has been suspected since then, after reports that Princess Charlène’s father had told a journalist friend that his daughter was expecting twins. Speculation grew in the past week, when the Princess appeared in Hello! apparently confirming the news.

Princess Charlène and Prince Albert are currently in the United States, where they attended the Princess Grace Awards Gala in Beverly Hills last night.
