Thurn und Taxis Princess Marries in Tutzing
Princess Maria Theresia, the eldest daughter of the late Johannes, 11th Prince of Thurn und Taxis and Countess Gloria of Schönburg-Glauchau, married Brit Hugo Wilson today in a ceremony in Tutzing.
The wedding took place at St Joseph’s Church, the bride’s younger brother, Albert, 12th Prince of Thurn und Taxis, walking his sister down the aisle to her groom. Princess Maria Teresia wore a gown designed by Vivienne Westwood that featured printed roses on the skirt.
Among the guests were Andrea Casiraghi and his wife Tatiana, and Hereditary Prince Alexander and Hereditary Princess Sarah of Isenburg.
A reception at Schloss Garatshausen, one of the family’s properties near Lake Starnberger, took place following the ceremony.
