British Royals at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow
The Earl and Countess of Wessex, along with their children Louise and James, as well as the Princess Royal, Prince Harry and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are so far the royals that have watched different sporting events in connection with the twentieth Commonwealth Games, which are being held in Glasgow, Scotland.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex and their two children firstly watched the Scotland vs. New Zealand Rugby Sevens match at the Ibrox Stadium on July 26. The Princess Royal was also present. The next day, Edward, Sophie and Louise watched the England vs. Malaysia hockey match at the Hockey Preliminaries.
On July 28, Harry, William and Kate watched the swimming and boxing events, during which Welsh swimmer Jazz Carlin won the 800m freestyle race. The three royals apparently sung along to I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) by The Proclaimers. Kate repeated her navy jacket, trousers and wedges, and also wore a comfortable looking lighter blue blouse.
