Princess Amalia Christened in France
Luxembourg’s tiny Princess Amalia was christened today, at the Chapel Saint-Ferréol-de Lorgues in France.
The little Princess arrived to the chapel with her parents, Prince Félix and Princess Claire, and her two godparents, Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg (her paternal aunt) and Felix Lademacher (her maternal uncle). Others in attendance were members of her immediate family: Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, Hartmut and Gabriele Lademacher, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie, Prince Louis and his family and Prince Sebastien.
The ceremony was conducted by Reverend Yves Menjot. According to the Grand Ducal Court, a commemorative mug crafted by Villeroy & Boch was given to guests as a gift.
Princess Amalia was born on June 15 at the Grande-Duchesse Charlotte Hospital in Luxembourg.
