William and Catherine On First Joint Engagement Since Tour
On 29 May, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, or the Earl and Countes of Strathearn as they are known in Scotland, performed their first official engagement together in Perth and Kinross, Scotland, since their tour to Australia and New Zealand in April. Since the tour, William has hosted a charity gala at Windsor Castle.
They firstly visited the Strathearn Community Campus, where they chatted with local children and were given a tour of the Scottish Ambulance Air Helicopter. They later attended a village fate in Forteviot Village, where Kate stopped for a photo, where she was asked to pull a funny face, whilst William inspected the horses of the members of the local horse riding club. Lady Georgina Bullough, the daughter of the Earl of Mansfield, was also in attendance.
William and Kate also visited The Famous Grouse Distillery in Crieff, where they tried some malt whisky. The Distillery is one of the oldest in Scotland and was founded in 1775. Kate wore a cosy looking red coat and a brooch.
Whilst having a conversation with Lianne McNamara, Kate said that Prince George has a pair of Spiderman pyjamas at home, which are too big for him to wear at the moment. She also said that he’s growing up and progressing well quickly.
