Princess Ayah Weds Mohamad Halawani
The Hashemite Royal Family of Jordan gathered on Thursday to celebrate the marriage of Princess Ayah bint Feisal bin Al Hussein and her fiance, Mohamad Halawani.
The couple, who were engaged last June, tied the knot in a lavish wedding reception held at Zahran Palace in Amman. According to Petra News Agency, the ceremony was attended by a number of princess and princesses, including the bride’s parents Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein and Princess Alia Tabbaa. Among the attendees were also Princess Ayah’s uncle, King Abdullah II with his wife Queen Rania, their son Crown Prince Hussein, and Queen Sofia of Spain.
Although the Royal Court’s statement did not contain any details about the groom, Princess Ayah is the eldest child of Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein and his first wife, Princess Alia Tabbaa. She was born in 1990 and has three younger siblings: a brother, prince Omar, and twin sisters, Princesses Aisha and Sarah. The Princess’s parents divorced in 2008; her father is currently married to the Jordanian Radio presenter Zeina Lubbadeh
